This past summer whenever it's nice outside, we run at Hanshew Middle School's track. It is up a little higher on the mountain so you can see the coastline from where you're running. This is the same place where the big group of geese was in the middle of the track a couple of weeks ago. There had to be over 50 and I wouldn't be surprised if it was more like 100 geese, pecking at the ground and chasing each other around. There's also a frisbee golf course and softball diamond so there're always a few people around. I'll really miss running outside here this winter.
